The aft cockpit and cabin configuration features an owner’s stateroom, for a true luxury experience at sea.

Each 520 cruising yacht is custom built, truly a one off especially for you. Of course, your 520 is yours and yours alone, as Bluewater customises the design to fit your needs and desires. Based on a Bruce Farr-designed, high performance GRP cruising hull, the 520 Pilot House includes the added convenience of an optional hydraulic lifting bulbous keel. This makes the yacht perfect for cruising shallow anchorages, such as Lake Macquarie and Queensland’s Broadwater, as well as any tricky ports throughout the world. And if you like to race, the Bluewater 520 is the perfect yacht for entering local and offshore competitions.

The cockpit can be fully enclosed with drop down side and rear clears, protecting your guests from the elements by a built-in dodger and sun roof. You can also heat or cool the cockpit and screen it from insects. Retract the roof to sail in both fine and foul weather. For maximum comfort, the seats on deck are long enough to lie on, and all controls lead to the twin helm station, which is separate from the guest cockpit. Seven guests can sit in the forward cockpit away from the action while still enjoying the exhilaration of sailing.

The lavish three-cabin layout, with interior design by Peter Lowe Design, gives you and your guests an astounding amount of space to live at sea with the comforts of home. The owner’s stateroom is aft with a king-sized bed, hanging locker space, his and her corner seating, a dressing table, built-in washer/dryer, and an ensuite head with separate shower area. Additional options include an extra seaberth, office, and tool storage area.

The large saloon seats up to ten guests, and a large U-shaped galley contains a full height front-opening refrigerator/freezer. If required, the galley can even be extended to the full width of the hull.
