The Centre Cockpit version of the Bluewater 420 offers motion, optimal privacy in the interior layout, and the ultimate in safety. This arrangement features a cockpit that can seat six comfortably, as well as store ropes and extra deck gear in ample lockers.
The 420 Centre Cockpit contains an owner’s stateroom with enough space to exercise, storage for long range voyages, and a
queen-sized island bed. The stateroom is accessed through walkways with more than six feet of headroom.
The large L-shaped navigation station can double as an office with a filing cabinet,
half-size chart drawer, gas-powered navigation chair, and room for a laptop computer.
Built for an Effortless Sail
Produced by the creative collaboration of Bluewater Cruising Yachts and designer
Joe Adams, the Bluewater 420 Centre Cockpit was created for comfortable and secure extended cruising.
Like the Raised Saloon version of the 420, the Centre Cockpit is sleek and elegant, equipped for shorthanded sailing, maintaining safety, agility and speed in comfort. The 900lt water capacity and 560lt fuel capacity, coupled with the ease of hydraulic steering, give the yacht exceptional stability in weather that is fair or foul.
The fixed windscreen and dodger offer excellent visibility, as well as protection against the elements, while the high decks make for dry sailing.
A Home Away from Home
The design is a combination of classic and contemporary with both beauty and pragmatism in mind. The spaciousness of the 420 Centre Cockpit is unusual in a yacht of its size. There is no need to bend while moving throughout this vessel, and an expansive deck allows for easier and safer movement.
The galley contains wide benches and more than enough cupboards for supplies.
The U-shaped lounge seats six and includes a settee. The huge saloon and dinette allow for entertaining in maximum comfort.
Choose from a 4 to 6 berth cabin layout for a yacht that beautifully combines function with fine craftsmanship for a stronger and safer sailing experience.
